This September marks the first meeting of the new Edinburgh Youth Issues Forum. The goal of the Forum is for young people to work in partnership with Edinburgh’s decision makers to influence issues that are important to young people in the city. And this means that young people play a key role in deciding the agenda for the Forum!
Edinburgh Youth Issues Forum The Edinburgh Youth Issues Forum is a partnership with young people and the City of Edinburgh Council and its partners to discuss and influence citywide youth issues and services. The Forum is open to all young people in the city aged 11-21.
You will have the opportunity to take part in young person friendly events and consultations with partners such as Councillors; police and fire service, youth workers, NHS, and Edinburgh Leisure. For more information, click here
Become a memberThe Forum is open to all young people aged 11-21 who live in Edinburgh. If you sign up now as a Forum member, you’ll receive information about what’s happening and the dates of upcoming events and opportunities, including the launch event on 4 September. (We’ll also send you an annual consent form. Once this is returned, you can participate in any Forum event throughout the year)
And even if you don’t have time to attend events, it’s worth becoming an online member. That way you can stay up-to-date on young people’s issues in Edinburgh and have your say in online consultations. To become a member, click here

Your issues If you’re a young person in Edinburgh, please tell us what topics are important to you. The ideas you submit will be discussed at the launch meeting on 4 September.
